Tips for merging

  • Rename files with numbers first (01-cover.pdf, 02-report.pdf) to drop them in the right order.
  • Need only some pages of a file? Extract them first, then merge.
  • To make the merged file smaller, scanned pages can be turned into images and compressed with the image tools.

How to use the Merge PDF files

  1. 1Drop two or more PDF files, or click to choose them.
  2. 2Use the arrows to put the files in the right order.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDF files uploaded?

No. The PDF is opened and changed by your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, which also makes it safe for contracts, invoices and ID documents.

Is there a limit on the number of files?

No fixed limit. Each file can be up to 200 MB; very large combinations depend on your device’s memory.

Will the quality change?

No. Pages are copied as they are — text, images and fonts are not re-compressed.

What about password-protected PDFs?

Encrypted PDFs cannot be edited here. Open the file in your PDF reader with its password, save a copy without protection, then use that copy.
