Can it open RAR or 7z files?
No — only ZIP. The tool recognises RAR, 7z, TAR and GZ files and tells you instead of failing silently.
What about password-protected ZIP files?
They are not supported. The tool detects encrypted files and tells you which ones could not be opened.
Is it safe to open unknown ZIP files?
Files are only listed and downloaded — nothing inside is run. File names are cleaned so an archive cannot write outside your download folder, and suspicious “zip bombs” are skipped. Still scan downloaded programs with your antivirus.
