How do I remove VAT from a total?
Divide by (1 + rate). With 15% VAT: 115 ÷ 1.15 = 100 net and 15 VAT. Do not simply subtract 15% of the total.
Are the rates always up to date?
The presets are the standard rates at the time of writing. Rates change, and some goods have reduced rates — you can always type your own rate.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Everything is calculated in your browser on your own device — nothing you type or upload is sent to a server.
