Choosing the resolution
JPG keeps photo-heavy pages small. If the page is mostly text or diagrams, PNG gives sharper edges.
| Setting | DPI | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 150 | Screens, social media, chat |
| High | 220 | Presentations, zooming in |
| Very high | 300 | Printing, small text |
Limits
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked in your PDF reader first.
- Very large pages are scaled down automatically so your browser does not run out of memory.
How to use the PDF to JPG
- 1Drop your PDF file or click to choose it.
- 2Pick the resolution: Standard for screens, High or Very high for printing and zooming.
- 3Download any page, or all pages at once as a ZIP.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs inside your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, so it works even offline once the page has loaded.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Yes. Scanned pages are already images, so they convert exactly as they look. Text-based PDFs are rendered sharply at the resolution you choose.
Can it open password-protected PDFs?
Not yet. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then convert the file here.
Which resolution should I choose?
Standard (about 150 DPI) is right for screens and messaging. High (about 220 DPI) or Very high (about 300 DPI) is better for printing or reading small text.
