Pixels, percent and aspect ratio
- Type only the width (or only the height) and the other side is calculated so the photo is not stretched.
- Turn off “keep ratio” only when a form demands exact dimensions such as 600×600 — or crop to a square first so nothing is distorted.
- “Don’t enlarge” stops small images from being blown up, which only makes them blurry.
- By percent: 50% halves both sides, which makes the file roughly four times smaller.
Common sizes

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs inside your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, so it works even offline once the page has loaded.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp because we use high-quality smoothing. Enlarging cannot add real detail, so “Never enlarge” is on by default.
What format is the result?
The same as the original: JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG and WebP stays WebP. HEIC and other formats are saved as JPG.
Can I resize many photos to the same size?
Yes. Set the size once, then drop all your photos; each one is resized with the same settings.
