The service

FileConverter provides free tools that convert and format files directly in your browser. The tools are offered "as is" and "as available". We may change, add or remove tools at any time.

Your files

Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us (see the Privacy Policy). You remain the owner of your files and are responsible for having the right to use and convert them. Keep a copy of your originals: some conversions are lossy (for example JPG or WebP compression) and cannot be undone.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the site for anything illegal or to process content you have no right to use.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or attack the site.
• Do not use bots or automated scripts to generate ad impressions or clicks.

Advertising

The site shows ads from third parties. We are not responsible for the content of ads or for the websites they link to. Clicking an ad takes you to a site governed by its own terms.

No warranty and limitation of liability

We work to make the tools accurate and reliable, but we do not guarantee that results will be error-free or suitable for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileConverter is not liable for any loss of data, profits or other damages arising from the use of the site.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
