Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. The PDF is opened and changed by your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, which also makes it safe for contracts, invoices and ID documents.
How do I write page ranges?
Separate ranges with commas: “1-3, 4-6, 7-” creates three files; “7-” means from page 7 to the end. Each range becomes its own PDF.
What is the difference with “Extract pages”?
Split makes several files at once. Extract pages makes one new PDF that contains only the pages you pick.
What about password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs cannot be edited here. Open the file in your PDF reader with its password, save a copy without protection, then use that copy.
